We are pleased: welcome, natural constants! In this way one could briefly summarize what is going on between November 2018 and May 2019 in the world of measurement. On November 16, 2018, the International CIML decided on a fundamental change in the International System of Units (SI). After a transitional period of 7 months, it will no longer be 7 basic units that form the basis of all measurement, but 7 natural constants. The changes will be implemented on 20 May 2019.
