Our dear colleague Paul Michael Date is now retiring. We wish him all the best for the future and would also like to express our sincere gratitude to him. For over ten years we have worked with Paul in his capacity as the Head of Scientific Metrology of the Ghana Standards Authority, and we continue to be impressed with his passion for metrology and his professional commitment to Ghana and the Economic Community of West African States.
He increased his extensive knowledge of his field by going on many study trips as well as by taking part in international training courses and conferences. We are very thankful to Paul for the fact that he always shared his knowledge, meaning that he substantially contributed to the projects we have successfully carried out in Ghana.
Paul was a wonderful host on our frequent trips to Ghana. He took us to some fascinating places like Lake Volta, Cape Coast and a number of historic forts, and we spent many happy hours with him eating Chinese food and watching various international football matches at outdoor screenings.
We wish Paul all the best for this new stage of his life and are very pleased that he will continue to support us as a consultant!
